Podcast: Our Bodies Will Not Be Policed | Free Word

OUR BODIES WILL NOT BE POLICED took place at Free Word on 8 November 2018, as part of our This Is Private Season.

Former Spread the Word’s Young People’s Laureate for London Momtaza Mehri curated a rebellious, unapologetic and exhilarating event response to the policing of women’s bodies, which brought together performance and open conversations with poet Amaal Said and journalist, poet and senior editor of Novara Media, Eleanor Penny. This podcast captures the evening and is recorded in two parts.
